Terms of Service — Sunset Addendum (Withdraw-Only & Shutdown)

This Sunset Addendum ("Addendum") supplements and amends the Tabi Terms of Service effective January 1, 2025 ("Terms") solely with respect to the TabiPay sunset and wind-down. If there is any conflict between this Addendum and the Terms, this Addendum controls for sunset matters.

1. Definitions

  • "Sunset Start Time": 2026-02-23 13:00 UTC
  • "Sunset Period": from the Sunset Start Time through permanent shutdown and the subsequent offline support period.
  • "Withdraw-Only": only actions necessary to withdraw existing balances and view related history are allowed; all other non-withdrawal actions are restricted.

  • D0: 2026-02-23 13:00 — Withdraw-Only begins; public notice published on tabipay.net.
  • D2: 2026-02-25 13:00 — TikTok one-tap wallet login/linking disabled; new registrations disabled.
  • D3: 2026-02-26 13:00 — Card last authorization time (no new spending/authorizations after this time).
  • D5: 2026-02-28 13:00 — USDT P2P disabled.
  • D10: 2026-03-05 13:00 — Final time for in-app withdrawals.
  • D15: 2026-03-10 13:00 — Permanent shutdown; the TabiPay PWA may no longer be accessible. Offline support continues.

3. Withdrawals; user obligations

  • You should withdraw your remaining balance no later than 2026-03-05 13:00 UTC.
  • You are responsible for confirming destination address, chain/network selection, and transaction details.
  • You are responsible for saving your TXID from withdrawal history.

4. Support for withdrawal failures/exceptions

If you experience withdrawal failures or require assistance related to withdrawals and reconciliation, contact sunset@tabipay.net and include: masked user identifier, asset, amount, timestamp, and relevant screenshots. We will never request your seed phrase or private key.

5. Disclaimers; limitation of liability

During the Sunset Period, services are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, performance, or timing, including due to blockchain network conditions or third-party dependencies. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the sunset or your use of the service during the Sunset Period.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access consistent with the Terms and this Addendum, including to comply with law, sanctions, fraud prevention, or security needs.

7. Governing law; arbitration (replaces Terms Section 11 for sunset matters)

For any dispute arising out of or relating to the Sunset Period, this Addendum, or withdrawal wind-down ("Dispute"):

  • Governing law: Singapore law.
  • Arbitration: Any Dispute shall be finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) under the SIAC Rules in force when the Notice of Arbitration is submitted.
  • Seat: Singapore.
  • Language: English.
  • Relief: The tribunal may award any relief permitted by law and the SIAC Rules.

Privacy Policy — Sunset Addendum (Sunset Period)

This Addendum supplements the Privacy Policy effective January 1, 2025 ("Privacy Policy") for the Sunset Period. Where this Addendum conflicts with the Privacy Policy, this Addendum controls for sunset matters.

1. Scope and key changes during the Sunset Period

From 2026-02-23 13:00 UTC, TabiPay operates in Withdraw-Only mode. We primarily process personal data to:

  • operate withdrawals and reconciliation;
  • provide support via sunset@tabipay.net;
  • maintain security monitoring and prevent abuse; and
  • meet compliance and audit obligations.

2. Data we process during the Sunset Period

We may process:

  • Account/identifier data: masked user ID and account status metadata
  • Transaction data: withdrawal amounts, assets, destination addresses, timestamps, TXIDs, and status
  • Security logs: IP address, device/browser signals, authentication events, and audit logs
  • Support communications: messages sent to sunset@tabipay.net and attachments needed for resolution
  • Compliance/KYC data: identity verification and sanctions screening results, including via Bycard

3. How we use data

We use data to:

  • fulfill withdrawal requests and maintain accurate records;
  • investigate failures, disputes, and security incidents;
  • comply with legal requirements (including AML/sanctions obligations); and
  • communicate important sunset notices.

4. Sharing and service providers

We may share personal data with:

  • service providers that help operate the service (e.g., infrastructure, hosting, customer support tooling);
  • compliance providers such as Bycard; and
  • authorities where required by law or valid legal process.

We do not sell personal data.

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain relevant personal data until all claims and withdrawal-related exceptions are fully processed and closed, and then for an additional 180 days, after which we will take reasonable steps to delete and/or anonymize data as described in our Data Retention & Deletion Policy (Sunset Period). Legal holds may require longer retention.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data. During the Sunset Period, certain requests may be limited where retention is required for reconciliation, security, compliance, or legal obligations. To submit a request, contact sunset@tabipay.net.

Data Retention & Deletion Policy (Sunset Period)

1. Purpose

This policy explains how we retain and delete data during the sunset period to support:

  • withdrawals processing and reconciliation;
  • handling of withdrawal failures and exceptions;
  • security monitoring and abuse prevention; and
  • compliance and audit obligations.

2. Retention period

We retain relevant data collected up to and during the sunset period until all claims and withdrawal-related exceptions are fully processed and closed, and then for an additional 180 days ("Retention Tail").

Retention End Date = (date all claims/exceptions are closed) + 180 days.

3. Categories of data retained

We may retain the following categories as applicable:

  • Account identifiers: masked user ID, account metadata (e.g., registration/status), and related logs
  • KYC/compliance data: verification materials and screening results (including via Bycard)
  • Transaction/withdrawal records: timestamps, amounts, assets, destination addresses, TXIDs, status, reconciliation notes
  • Security/operational logs: IP address, device/browser signals, authentication events, system audit logs
  • Support communications: emails to/from sunset@tabipay.net and attachments used for resolution

4. Access controls

Access is limited to personnel and service providers with a legitimate need for operational, compliance, security, and audit purposes. Access may be logged.

5. Deletion / anonymization after retention

After the Retention End Date, we will take reasonable steps to:

  • delete personal data no longer necessary for the purposes above; and/or
  • anonymize data so it can no longer be associated with an identifiable individual.

AML / Sanctions Compliance Statement (TabiPay Sunset Period)

We are committed to complying with applicable anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorist financing (CTF), and sanctions laws and regulations.

3. Restrictions to comply with law

We may restrict access, suspend transactions, or request additional verification where necessary to comply with legal obligations, sanctions, fraud prevention, or operational security.

4. Sunset controls (Withdraw-Only)

From 2026-02-23 13:00 UTC, TabiPay operates in Withdraw-Only mode as described on tabipay.net. Non-withdrawal actions are restricted.

We may retain and disclose information as required by law or valid legal process.

Risk Disclosure (Digital Assets & Sunset Period)

1. Digital asset risks

Digital assets are volatile and involve technical, market, and regulatory risks. Transactions may be irreversible. Network congestion, incorrect chain selection, or incorrect destination addresses may result in loss of funds.

2. Custodial model

TabiPay operates a custodial model where the platform controls keys/signing authority (including an EIP-7702 based approach). Custodial services involve counterparty, operational, and security risks.

3. Third-party dependencies

Withdrawals may depend on third parties (e.g., infrastructure providers, compliance vendors such as Bycard, and blockchain networks). Failures or interruptions may affect availability or timing.

4. Sunset schedule & availability risk

TabiPay is being sunset according to the schedule published on tabipay.net. After the final in-app withdrawal time, in-app withdrawals may no longer be available. After permanent shutdown, the PWA may no longer be accessible.

5. User responsibility

You are responsible for verifying withdrawal details before submission and for saving your TXID from withdrawal history.
